No parent should ever have to suffer the devastating loss of a child. After losing her son Jonah to a traumatic brain injury in 2018, Amanda Del Balso Cantwell (a manager on the Google for Education team) established the Child Life Program at George Mark House to honor her son’s legacy; providing a supportive environment for families with children who have a serious medical illness.
