Today's Fast Friday is an interesting mix of both staying true to the established path and veering towards the heart's true desires. We will be learning about two iconic feminine forces: Athena, the goddess of strategy and wisdom, and the Sirens, the feminine forces of temptation.
The lessons these goddesses have to offer us are essential for finding clarity on where we are headed in life. Athena drives from the mind and uses foresight and strategy to attain Her desired goals. The Sirens, on the other hand, draw sailors away from the planned path and into the watery depths of Their kingdom.
We often hear of the positive aspects of Athena, and the negative aspects of the Sirens, but like everything in this world, these archetypes contain both light and darkness. They remind us that, as all goddess archetypes, their powerful essence is within us all, supporting the human capacity for great compassion and wisdom.
