When you live inside desire, not from lack or desperation but from recognition that the presence of desire is its own fulfillment, you stop depriving yourself. This stage involves reclaiming not just ordinary desires, but also shadow desires—strong desires you’ve been resisting for a long time. Recognizing and fulfilling these desires is a crucial part of shadow work.
