Wow, what a surprise guest. I had no idea what I was getting into with Ikar, but it turned out to be magical and intergenerational. Today's guest is totally different from any other I have had on. We are usually geeking out on the science of biohacking, but never enough on the spiritual side. So master breathwork practitioner Ikar Wood is going to bring us there.
Ikar first came to the world as Bryant Wood. But his new name Ikar means "The one who touches the sky". His life moved from reality show and television star to spiritual healer. He's been featured in Women's Magazine, Forbes, Netflix and even the United Nations….so you possibly have seen him before. And through it all, he's traveled the world enriching himself with amazing and really unique experiences from learning from Tibetan Buddhists to famous gurus and even Sufi mystics. But Covid, put a stop to some of these travels, and he's now completely dedicated himself to the mastery of breath, movement and energy practices on his turf.
His amazing journey in the only 27 years of his life has brought him also to the world of NLP, yoga, mindfulness, motivation and health consultant, being certified in all these practices, which has now culminated into one amazing platform called Modern Nirvana to help pave the way for a more enlightened world. He uses play, diversity, and knowledge in his sacred space rituals, workshop and retreats around the world. He is also a public speaker and will be on stage at the Biohacking Congress in Las Vegas March 2022.
