You have to be intentional about how you lead your day. Otherwise, you will be putting out everyone else's fire and not doing what matters to you.
And this is why you want to keep your eye on the ball.
I was watching football yesterday. One game I caught was Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints.
It was the bottom of the 3rd quarter. Tom Brady of the Buccaneers throws a long pass over 20 guys only to have his one teammate, Mike Evans catch the ball for a 41-yard touchdown.
Now that catch could have been easy. But you see, Evans had a Saint on his heels, inches away from disrupting the catch.
Yet what do you think happened?
Evans kept his eye on the ball. He didn't concern himself with a man about to trample him and possibly cause a fumble.
He stuck to what he knew; the plan, preparation, and execution.
Are you willing to keep your eye on the ball for your dreams and goals?
If so, then that's when you can take the ball and R.U.N.!
