Codependency, at its core, being being the belief that we ‘need’ one specific person outside of ourselves to regulate our internal world
Recognizing that society has conditioned us to equate attachment with love, and that without a certain amount of differentiation, we can fall into the trap of seeing the person in front of us as a means to an end - instead of loving them for who they are
How we find and provide a healing and safe space within a relationship, without taking on roles that start to become overly enmeshed
