I’ve been in a pendulum swing of suffering and joy lately—and as ever, I hope what I share is a popcorn trail through the dark for you. Because there’s always another side.

This episode is inspired by a poem from D.H. Lawrence that’s become a mantra for me: “Are you willing to be made nothing?” The Phoenix only renews when she’s burnt to flocculent ash. Immortal bird, anyone?
