Best of With Love, Danielle: Downsizing as a spiritual practice and how to make the best decision

This episode originally aired as Episode 169 on March 7, 2025, and became one of your favourites of the year. We're bringing it back because this conversation on letting go and making aligned decisions really resonated. If you missed it the first time or want to revisit, here we go… Loves, I'm attempting to be useful in two ways today. BONUS. 1) Let's talk about decision making, how to know when it's right or wrong. 2) And how the ego loves to look good. And thus! how letting go of status concepts can be radically liberating and HEALING. I once traded a status symbol (sexy Audi, FAST) for a soul symbol (pre-owned VW, FREE). Turns out, less status = more me. More LIFE. In this episode: How the ego masks self-worth struggles with status symbols The surprising freedom in less (and why "downgrade to upgrade" is real) The three red flags that signal a misaligned decision A spiritual approach to right-sizing your life—beyond logic, beyond labels MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Follow + subscribe to With Love, Danielle on Substack for weekly podcasts, essays + more (formerly known as The Sacred)

How I'm STILL Recovering From Spiritual Bypassing

Comparing your spiritual path to someone else's is crazy-making. And yet… most of us do it.  Daniell talks about how she's STILL recovering from spiritual bypassing and why  Because your path is your path. Your Soul isn't here to win a spiritual competition. It's here to love, to serve, to stumble, to practice. Over and over again.  In this episode: Why comparing your spiritual path to someone else's is self-punishment The many absurd (and enlightening) ways we measure our "devotion" How spiritual bypassing keeps us from real growth Why being full human is the real holy move Plus: a poem on devotion and daily enlightenment MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Danielle's book White Hot Truth: Clarity for Keeping it Real on Your Spiritual Path from One Seeker to Another GetHeartCentered.com—Download the FREE Astro + Events calendar and sync your plans with the planets Follow + Subscribe to With Love, Danielle on Substack for weekly essays + more Join the CENTERED Collective

How I Got My Body and Energy Back

It took three years and a blessed fortune, but Danielle feels—and looks—better than ever. This is the episode where she tells you everything. The mold that tried to kill her twice. The metals poisoning. The 12-inch worms (yes, really). The 27 pounds she lost without counting a single calorie. The face that made people ask, "Have you had work done?" No tox. No surgery. Just results. Danielle walks you through the practitioners who actually helped, the protocols that worked, and the expensive mistakes she made so you don't have to. This is raw, real, and intensely practical. If you've been trying everything and nothing's working—your body might just be trying to stay alive. In this episode: Why mold and parasites are buddies (and how to evict them both) The brain and metals detox that brought her clarity back What actually worked for weight loss after trainers, cardio, and protein shakes failed The 3-month parasite cleanse and what came out of her body (bring chopsticks) How she lost 27 pounds without counting calories The insulin resistance reset that changed everything Face yoga, red light therapy, and the tools that firmed up her face (no Botox) The spiritual practices that helped her discern solutions The essential oils, air purifiers, and home environment shifts that support healing Big disclaimer: This is not medical advice. This is Danielle's body, her karma, her choices. Take what you want, leave the rest. Intimacy and Prayer—What Happens When You Petition the Divine

The fastest way to fall in love with people? Ask them what they're praying for. Or let them pray for you.  This is a deeply personal episode. Danielle opens up about the end of her marriage and how prayer—both hers and others'—became a lifeline.  She shares how carrying twelve friends' prayers through the sacred temples of Egypt opened her up to the intimacy of prayer—raw, messy, holy. She talks about moving from "polished petitions" to unfiltered conversations with the Divine, and the healing power of asking others to hold you in prayer when your own heart is breaking.  In this episode: Danielle's deeply personal reflection on heartbreak A Prayer from Michelle for Broken Hearts How asking for prayers during heartbreak becomes medicine Why the most powerful prayers are messy and real MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Daily Energetics—a course that teaches you how to align your to-dos with planetary rhythms. Is it Self-Pity or Self-Compassion?

Sometimes we confuse self pity as self Compassion.  Compassion is a dignified energy. It's embracing and wise. It knows that it's highly capable of healing people and situations. Compassion is merciful. Compassion is a possibility thinker.  Self-pity is like the zirconia diamond of compassion. It's not real, but it looks close. Self-pity looks backwards, scans for blame. It seems interested in getting out of pain but… nope, not really.  In this episode, Danielle shares how she caught herself in a cycle of self-pity, and how she shifted toward compassion with one simple prayer.  Three days of focus turned into gentle optimism—and compassion emerged. In this episode:  The difference between self-pity and self-compassion Why self-pity feels soothing but blocks healing The prayer Danielle used to transform self-pity into resilience MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: INNER SUN Fall Equinox Meditation. The RELIEF You Feel When You Make the Right Decisions

Danielle's summer was full of pivots. Some heartbreak. Decisions of depth. Phoenix vibes. Here's the thing about making the right decision: you'll know because of the relief you feel. It's the rush of light that comes with the declaration. The exhale. That clarity is all the affirmation you need.  In this episode, Danielle shares a recent pivot with her new book, Bless & Release. What was supposed to launch in Fall 2025 has been moved to Spring 2026. A move that was out of character—but created space, fresh insight, and a waterfall of gratitude.  From a mastermind with James Clear, to forming a focus group for the book, to planning the world's largest survey on what people want to let go of… this pivot became a portal.  And with every pivot comes Phoenix medicine: the burning, the ashes, the certain rising.  In this episode: How to recognize the right decision by the relief it brings Why pivoting can create more ease, insight and expansion Behind the scenes of the decision to move Bless & Release to Spring 2026 A lesson from James Clear on writing "the best book ever" MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: The 2026 CENTERED Planner is here! On Saturdays We Clean Up Our Karma (and Our Closets)

Here we are—the final episode in our 8-part series on the Energetics of the Days of the Week. We've covered Mercury Retrograde, Sunday through Friday… and now, Saturday. Saturdays are ruled by Saturn. It's that big, heavy, father energy. Structure. Rigidity. Discipline. It's also the day for cleaning up karma—tidying your inner state and your outer world. Which is why Saturdays are naturally the best day of the week for errands, organizing, and getting your sh*t together. Each day of the week pairs with a Life Area, and Saturday's is SPACE + THINGS. Your home and office, your belongings, your car, your closets, the stuff that surrounds you.  Saturn invites us to declutter, to clear what no longer serves, to bring order to our space—and our karma.  When we use Saturn's structured energy consciously, it doesn't feel heavy. It feels like grace.  In this episode:  Why Saturn makes Saturday the day of structure + karma The best activities for Saturdays Why completion energy matters—and how it clears the way for Sunday's fresh start The Life Area of SPACE + THINGS and how to work with it for more ease + flow MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: The 2026 CENTERED Planner is here!
