Humanitarian Crisis in Northern Gaza

The situation in northern Gaza has deteriorated drastically, with civilians fleeing due to an ongoing military offensive by Israel, which has cut off humanitarian supplies for over a month. Dr. Mohamed Salha, acting director of Al-Aouda hospital, reported that civilians are facing relentless bombings, leading to high casualties and despair among those still in the region. The hospital is operating under strenuous conditions, with only one surgeon available and limited resources, including electricity, affecting life-saving medical operations. As civilians flee, the exodus has resulted in more than 80% of the population abandoning northern Gaza, leaving behind dire shortages of food, water, and medical supplies.
