"Hi, Shannah and everyone at Millennial Money. I was so excited to find your podcast last year in the midst of a very tough money year and really a tough year all around. I was feeling super down about my money and not being able to hit my goals. I just want to first say that you helped me get rid of some stress, sleep better, and hit my goal of fully funding my Roth IRA in 2020. This year, I wanted to go deeper, start stock investing, pay off some debt and get more of a money vision together, and I was like, let me see what my girl Shannah has to say. I tell all my friends about this show. Ok, my question. I’m hearing a lot about inflation and the holidays and I don’t totally understand why I should care. I’m in my early 40’s and have heard stories when inflation was really high in the ’80s, I think, and there were lines for gas, getting a mortgage was super expensive, but what does it mean now and how will it impact this holiday season and I guess into next year.
