Recently, a listener wrote in and asked why follicle counts can vary from month to month, and specifically why they drop some months. And, it's a great question!

For now, we have to check estradiol, AMH, and FSH and have patients come in for a follicle count so we can determine if it's a good month to move forward with a cycle. There is no crystal ball or chart that will help determine that information.
