Adani Group’s Vizhinjam trans-shipment port can put India on the global map as a shipping hub. It will also boost India's foreign reserves and can potentially rev up the country's woeful status in the global shipping world. Vizhinjam is Adani's toughest project yet. It is also critical to its ambition of becoming the world's biggest port operator by 2030. Why has India not had a successful trans-shipment port yet?
