In this meeting the government announced that they would be implementing some voluntary but no less significant changes in how cosmetic clinics operate and how they are licensed. Clinics who do not have a prescribing doctor on site would instead need to apply to become a 'licensed facility' - similar to the licensing of a day surgery facility.
