Rejection, Loss, and Abandonment: On-Air Counseling Session with Christine Caine

Over the next few weeks I’ll be having raw, open, and honest conversations with some of the top Christian leaders and teachers, asking them: Are YOU really ok?  This series of on-air counseling sessions with some of the most influential teachers and leaders in the Church, is leading up to the one-year anniversary of my book, Are You Really OK?, challenging each and every one of us to get real about how we’re really doing mentally and emotionally.

It takes courageous people to openly and publicly talk about their journey with mental and emotional health, but these are the exact conversations that begin taking down the stigma, paving the way for us to truly get real about how we’re doing as Christians.

Today’s session is with my dear friend Christine Caine. Christine is a Jesus-loving, passionate, international speaker and author. Along with her husband, she’s the founder of A21, an anti-human trafficking campaign that’s saving lives across the globe.

Christine opens up and shares about a dark time of rejection and pain that lasted almost two years….so dark, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to make it to the other side. This season of loss, grief, and abandonment stretched her behind her wildest imagination. It impacted her body, her sleep, and her peace. Her story is going to open your eyes to the challenges so many people go through without our awareness. But it will give you hope in your own dark time.
