Connecting the Dots Dr. Lee Erickson, shares her passion for improving Safety & Quality in Health Care
Dr. Erickson is a physician executive with 20 years of experience in
Lean Health Care transformation, hospital administration and clinical
operations, and graduate medical education. She is a Lean Six Sigma Master
Black Belt with deep knowledge in organizational transformation and change
leadership, process & design and improvement, healthcare quality, patient
safety, and design thinking & innovation. She also is a teacher, with
more than two decades of serving as Family Medicine/Primary Care faculty in
graduate medical education programs. Inspiring young physicians and colleagues
to strive for excellence in patient-centered care, to improve the health of
communities with better outcomes at a lower cost, gives her work meaning and
purpose. She is a skilled in physician leadership development, medical
staff management, risk management, curriculum development and training,
documentation and coding, and regulatory accreditation & compliance.
