Cat Ward is a Vice President at JFF (Jobs For the Future) a non-profit committed to equitable economic impact. In her role, Cat works with employers to help them think creatively and innovatively in order to recruit, retain, and grow diverse talent.
During our conversation, Cat spoke about the work JFF is doing to create economic opportunity for all by working with employers to rethink their approaches on talent attraction and development so that they can recruit and retain diverse talent, and why specifically in today’s workplace in 2023, these topics are so critical and relevant.
Cat also shared examples of “Impact Employers” who were using new approaches to recruiting and retaining diverse talent, some of the challenges that come with trying to transform your talent strategies, and the importance of fostering career mobility to unlock the potential of diverse talent and create a better world of work for all.
