When you think about CrossFit, it's hard to not see a visual of an athlete performing a snatch or a clean and jerk in your head.

Greg Glassman knew the benefit those movements brought to the table in creating fitness and made sure they were an integral part of the methodology.

Inside the world of weightlifting, there are a few very prominent figures that have established themselves as experts.

Glenn Pendlay, rest in peace, was one of them.

For many years, Glenn Pendlay dreamed of writing a book that would have helped him when he was an absolute beginner in the sport of weightlifting. American Weightlifting is that dream realized and is the culmination of his life’s work.

Here we meet with one of his co-authors, James McDermott, to talk about all of the value this book brings to the coaching community.
