Some guys think that keeping their wife anxious about how she is perceived is the key to making her stay on top of her game with fitness, dressing well, etc. From what I see in my practice and the people around me, the exact opposite is true. Guys that are super complimentary and adoring end up with wives who are more secure and dress and carry themselves with more confident sexiness, because they know that they will always knock the socks off their husband at varying levels. Women who think they have to look a certain way or their husbands won't be attracted to them end up hopeless when younger and not giving a shit when older, because eventually they think, "Who gives a shit about his standards, he's an asshole anyway."
