Jackie Jackson is a yoga teacher certified in Somatic EMDR. She is the author of Urge Overkill: A Story of Breaking Free, a self-help book on based on her own experience and her work at a domestic violence and rape shelter. Her second book is Holistic Trauma Healing: Strategies to Integrate the Body, Mind, and Spirit, exploring how to use conventional with complementary modalities. Jackie is also a group facilitator with Other Parents Like Me, a national online network supporting caregivers of children facing mental health challenges.
