Brian Sanders is the founder of the Sapien Center in Austin, Texas, a health and social club that brings together like-minded health enthusiasts. Brian became interested in launching a physical space after spending nearly 6 years working on his upcoming documentary Food Lies, launching his brand Nose-to-Tail, and starting his podcast Peak Human. His passion for re-writing the health narrative was born out of his own health journey that started after both his parents encountered life-altering diagnoses. Since then, Brian has focused his energy on getting more information in the hands of people looking to make a change, and now his community space serves as the epicenter of healthy living in Austin, Texas. In our episode with Brian, we discuss the importance of creating a third place, why community is just part of the bigger picture of health, and the power of learning how to hunt for your own food. We hope you enjoy!
