Vince is from Farmington, New Mexico, and is a board member of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, Basin Good Neighbor Foundation, San Juan United Way and the New Mexico Association of Home and Hospice Care. He is a Farmington Native and has raised his three children, Natasha, Sheala, and Asa, in this beautiful community.
As a CEO/Administrator of a large healthcare company, retired Battalion Chief from Farmington Fire Department, Director of Field Operations, and Incident Management Chief with Team Rubicon, Vince has over 30 years of crisis leadership, emergency/disaster response, Incident Management Team (IMT), and instructional experience. He has been responding to and teaching Fire/Rescue/EMS since 1991, specializing in Technical Rescue and large-scale disasters, and continues to stay active in this area through Team Rubicon, Urban Search and Rescue, and Arroyo Rescue.
Vince believes in constantly developing and growing as a leader, using our positive and negative life lessons and Follower-ship and Servant Leadership as foundations to become strong and effective. He also believes in philanthropy as a foundation for personal development and growth. For the past decade, his focus has been developing and training new leaders to develop their strengths instead of perceived weaknesses. He is a perpetual student.
