Choosing to Trust Nature's Intelligence
In this podcast episode, Tim discusses the importance of choosing to trust in nature's intelligence. He emphasizes the need to move away from external control and instead allow the process of life to unfold. Tim encourages immersing oneself in nature, engaging in creative activities, and practicing meditation to cultivate a conscious state that aligns with nature's intelligence. He believes that by developing this conscious state, individuals can find stability, security, and contentment even in a rapidly changing world. Tim also explores the concept of being rendered choiceless, where individuals embrace the unknown and trust that the universe has a logic and intelligence that will guide them forward.
Running an Experiment of Choosing to Trust
Tim suggests running an experiment of choosing to trust in the intelligence of the universe. He explains that this experiment involves letting go of control, allowing a process to unfold, and creating a space for trust and intuition to guide decision-making. By choosing to trust, individuals can begin to shift their perspective and open themselves to new possibilities. Tim encourages engaging in activities that promote trust, such as immersing oneself in nature, practicing meditation, and cultivating creativity. He believes that choosing to trust can lead to greater joy, serendipity, and a sense of connection to the broader intelligence of the universe.
Finding Stability and Security Within
Tim emphasizes the need to look within ourselves for stability, security, and fulfillment, rather than seeking them externally. He explains that the external world is constantly changing and cannot provide lasting stability and security. Tim suggests developing a conscious state that expands our awareness and opens us up to our own inner nature. He discusses the importance of meditation and other practices that cultivate a deeper understanding of oneself and connection with the broader intelligence of the universe. Tim believes that by aligning ourselves with nature's intelligence and embracing our inner nature, we can find profound peace and contentment.
Embracing Change and Trusting the Process
Tim discusses embracing change and trusting the process as key elements of personal and collective growth. He highlights the inherent intelligence in the universe and the natural tendency for evolution and transformation. Tim encourages individuals to let go of the need for control and instead flow with the ever-changing nature of life. He suggests running the experiment of choosing to trust, even in challenging times, and observing how life unfolds when we relinquish the grip of doubt and resistance. By embracing change and trusting the process, Tim believes that we can find a harmonious balance between individual contribution and aligning ourselves with the intelligence of the universe.
Wild is having a bit of a break as the New Year gets started and we’ll be running a bunch of important or really poignant episodes that you might have missed along the way.
Last year I lost my dear friend Tim Brown, my meditation teacher and confidente. He was an incredibly wise man and impacted a lot of people …some of you listening might have read my books - his wisdom and reality checks feature throughout…I don’t know how many times I’ve started with the sentence..as my meditation teacher Tim once said. Anyway, this episode in which he and I talk back and forth on …life…is very special to me and I feel his legacy needs to live on, joyfully, and playfully.
