Through the heartbreaking death of her daughter and unborn grandchild, Gaylene has discovered that nature has a healing quality that allows for reflection, renewal, and recovery. She has spent many hours asking questions of parents to discover what they struggle with the most. The answers provide the inspiration for her articles, videos, and grief support hikes. She believes a positive mindset is crucial to healing and has a backpack full of tools to help parents tell grief to take a hike.
She has been trained in companioning the bereaved and volunteers at her local grief center. Her experience has allowed her to be available for those who are struggling with their loss.
Gaylene guides parents along this journey with love, empathy, and respect for their own mourning timeline. Healing is possible.
