Don’t Walk Away - Pastor Naeem Fazal
Without thinking, we look away and divert our eyes from pain, suffering and things that make us uncomfortable. There are many stories of The Church unfortunately walking away from unfamiliar people, uncomfortable situations and uneasy solutions. But as followers of Jesus, we’re not called to divide and conquer with our own people. Christians need to lead the way in unity and creating a better world for our neighbors.
In week 3 of “The Church the World Needs,” Pastor Naeem gives new insight to a familiar story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10. Using historical context of the time and the Hebrew framework of the parable, you will learn the real importance of defining - and redefining - who your neighbor is.
