William talks about dealing with a genetic cardiovascular disease since childhood, powerlifting, and finding fulfillment in helping other people. His perspective on adversity and resilience enables him to live life and do the things he enjoys.

About William Elliott

William “Muscle Bill” Elliott was born with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, a rare condition characterized by the inability to get rid of “bad cholesterol.” He had a triple bypass at the age of eight, and he has to make weekly visits to the hospital to have his blood filtered. His condition hasn’t stopped Muscle Bill from competing in powerlifting meets and finding a way to help people through his story.
