Khan Porter has been a CrossFit Games athlete many times and coming into 2023 he was in the best shape of his life, seemingly beyond his long term aches and pains enough to train, and he had his eyes on a top 10 finish at the annual CrossFit Games. 

Khan's long time back injury came back with a vengeance and it got so bad that he couldn't even drive his car without taking his foot off of the gas and pulling over to recover.
