Based in Vancouver, Natalia Lebedinskaia strives to build and empower resilient teams and communities, creating meaningful connections between art and people. Her leadership and curatorial practice span national public art projects, grassroots initiatives, municipal galleries, and artist projects, all centered on deep relationship-building, reciprocity, and collaboration.
Natalia was most recently the Program Director at the Vancouver Biennale, where she oversaw the Open Air Museum public art program and International Artist Residencies, and served as the Creative Director at VMF.
Prior to moving to Vancouver in 2018, she was the Curator of Contemporary Art at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba and one of seven curators for LandMarks2017, a national series of contemporary art commissions marking the 150th anniversary of Confederation in Canada's National Parks.
Throughout her life and career, Natalia has lived and worked across Canada. Born in Moscow, Russia, she comes from a family of writers, poets, and mathematicians.
