We Are For Good Podcast - The Podcast for Nonprofits 58. Moms Serving Moms: The Story of the Tender Foundation - Jaycina Almond
Welcome to our season one finale! We've got a special minisode for you today... one that shows the power of a little tender loving care can go in changing the lives of our moms and their children.
Meet Jaycina. Although she's an international model, lately she's been pouring her time into her fellow single mothers. She founded The Tender Foundation earlier this year with the goal of providing financial assistance and essential supplies to mothers living on the margins in Atlanta. In its first year, the nonprofit has launched several campaigns, including a two-week campaign where the organization raised nearly $35K. She talks new missions, early success and what she's still learning as a founder.
