Here's a truth to hold tight: There is no us without you. Meaning, your role, your actions, and your mindset are not just parts of your marriage—they shape it entirely. Too often, we get caught up in doing everything for everyone else, leaving our spouse behind emotionally and physically. Reclaiming intentionality begins with recognizing how much your specific contributions matter in the "us" equation.

So what does owning your part actually look like? Here are three powerful moves any spouse can take before pointing fingers or blaming:
