As a woman who has a period every month, it's scary to see the lack of education around menstruation and just how much we aren't taught/don't know about our bodies. Our guest defines what a period actually is, the purpose of menstruation, what hormones are affected in the process, how to align your lifestyle to your cycle, and much more! With the amount of shame/stigma that still exists around periods, I truly hope that this conversation is bringing us one step closer to reducing those negative feelings and ultimately, improving our knowledge of this natural bodily process.
