We had a beautiful conversation with American singer-songwriter Timothy Showalter, better known as Strand of Oaks. Ever since his first album 'Leave Ruin' in 2009 Showalter has continued to release albums, evolving and developing his craft along the way, the most recent being 'In Heaven'. We also spoke about taking up painting, a jazz approach to the album, quitting alcohol, not wanting to drag people down, being proud of his own artistry, support from his wife and My Morning Jacket, breaking a generational cycle, human connectivity and so much more. It honestly was an absolute joy to talk with Tim again. I hope you enjoy it as well!
