FaceCulture is a daily-updated music platform for in-depth interviews, live sessions, and a lot more with your favorite artists. While we operate mainly on YouTube and other video services, with this podcast we wan't to enable people to listen to a selection of both old and new interviews whenever and however they prefer. A short disclaimer: Because a lot of our interviews are conducted at festivals, music venues, hotels, restaurants, and the like, the quality of the audio isn't always in our full control, so please bare with us when the sound quality doesn't always match that of other podcasts. Having said that, we do want to provde the listener with as comfortable a listening experiences as possible, so not every interview that we do as FaceCulture will find its way to the podcast. Nestor is a Swedish melodic hard rock band, that formed in 1989 but didn't release any music until 2021. The band, fronted by producer and singer Tobias Gustavsson, makes a mix of classic and 80s inspired rock combined with a solid hard rock base. After their debut album 'Kids in a Ghost Town' (2021) the band released their follow-up 'Teenage Rebel' in 2024. AWOLNATION is an American alternative rock band fronted by singer, songwriter and producer Aaron Bruno. The band had a tremendous crossover hit on their hands with the single 'Sail' from their debut album 'Megalithic Symphony' (2011) and the success continued with follow-up album 'Run' in (2015). Bad Nerves is a British power-pop rock 'n' roll band who've recently been getting a lot of buzz, in part due to some pubic support from the likes of Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) and Justin Hawkins (The Darkness). Lo Moon is a Los Angeles based alternative rock band that made waves with their debut single 'Loveless' and their self-titled debut album that followed soon after. Unleash The Archers - Brittney Slayes (2024)
Unleash The Archers is a Canadian metal band fronted by vocalist Brittney Hayes (aka Brittney Slayes). With their unique mix of power, melodic and death metal, and a foundation of classic heavy metal, the band managed to make a name for themselves, and their album 'Apex' (2017) in particular turned quite a few heads and led them to where te band is today. Their most recent album is 'Phantoma', an ambitious AI inspired epic that is both musically and conceptually well thought out. DARIN is one of Sweden's biggest pop stars and songwriters having had 8 of his 9 albums reach the top spot in the charts. DARIN rose to prominence after finishing as the runner-up in the first season of Swedish Idol, followed up by the succesful debut album 'The Anthem' (2005) After a number of hit singles and albums DARIN switched to singing in Swedish with the album 'Fjärilar i magen' (2015). Frank Turner (2024)
Frank Turner is an English singer-songwriter with roots in the punk scene. He first made a name for himself as the vocalist for post-hardcore band 'Million Dead'. After the band split in 2005 Turner ventured into an acoustic-orientated solo career. As a solo artist Frank has released 10 albums, and all his albums from Tape Deck Heart (2013) onward have cracked the U.K. album top 5. FTHC (2022) even managed to conquer the top spot. His latest album is 'Undefeated' (2024), and we spoke with Turner about the album, arguing with his 15-year-old self, being independent again, creating a community, Henry Rollins, and a lot more!
