Admiral William McRaven: Make Your Bed

On this episode Donny sits down with the incomparable retired US Navy 4-star admiral, Admiral WIlliam McRaven. Adm. McRaven oversaw the 2011 Navy SEAL raid in Pakistan that killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. His book "Spec Ops: Case Studies in Special Operations Warfare: Theory and Practice", is considered a fundamental text on special operations strategy. He also gave one of the greatest commencement speeches of all time sharing life lessons from being a SEAL. He and Donny dive into the viral "Make Your Bed" speech and discuss how to be your best in your darkest moments, the power of holding on until the sun comes up, and why it's all about the little things in life. The admiral also shares about training with sharks, what went through his mind in the moments prior to capturing Bin Laden, and why he's a fan of Millenials and Gen Z.
