We're not in this together, and that's okay

There’s a LOT going on in the world at the moment.

And there’s a lot of division too.

We’re not all going to see eye to eye and that's okay. In fact, it’s expected. Everyone thinks their view is right and the other view is wrong. 

We don’t have to agree. 

But we CAN try to understand.

Check in with yourself here. Have you tried to understand where someone with a different point of view is coming from?

Have you acted out of compassion and kindness towards people who think differently to you?

Or are you just focussed on proving yourself right?

The thing is, we’re all right in our own eyes.

I encourage you to take a step back here because a lot of people around the world are in situations where they can’t do much about what’s happening.

What we CAN do is be more compassionate, more understanding, more kind to one another. 

The most powerful thing we can do now is choose kindness. 

Choose love. 

Choose empathy.
