248. Incorporating a More Self-Sufficient Lifestyle and The Economy of The Future with Nora Gedgaudas

You might be familiar with my guest today, Nora Gedgaudas, as she is one of the leading voices for both the Price Pottenger and Westin A. Price organizations with her powerful and important contributions to the Paleo community and healthy and ancestral eating and lifestyle. As the last show of the year, in this conversation, we take a more personal approach as Nora and I discuss determining values, the state of the world right now, recognizing when you are being lied to and trusting your intuition - which ultimately led Nora to moving away from her personal sanctuary in Oregon to live off-the-grid! Nora shares different types of "off-grid" living and explains the self-sufficient challenges and benefit of living this type of lifestyle. Of course we chat animals including chickens, ducks, geese and even discuss what it's like living in proximity with bears and mountain lions! Although these types of convos can lead to an exploration of dire circumstances and the inevitable "doomsday" topic I loved this conversation with Nora because it was so different than her typical media appearance and most importantly, I feel there will be little nuggets of wisdom and ideas in there FOR YOU to perhaps incorporate into your own life to help you adjust to the changes in the world and live a more empowered, self-sufficient life!
