The Italian import/export boss. Empson has been a part of her family’s wine business since 2006, and she succeeded her father and company founder, Neil Empson, as CEO of Italian exporter Empson & Co in the fall of 2018. The company exports wine to 32 countries and works with distinctive and dynamic family-owned estates. In April, she was appointed CEO of Empson USA and its subsidiary, Empson Canada, where she oversees the import and promotion of the company’s offerings. A champion of Italy’s indigenous and single-varietal wines, she’s poised to share exciting bottlings from inspiring winemakers and estates.
