About Shannon Tabaldo
In her own words:
"I am Shannon Tabaldo, an educator fueled by the belief that all students should have equitable access to technology in education. This passion began when as a parent and educator I began to see the gap in access to opportunities and experiences in some student populations. After much research and educating myself more in the education technology space, I landed in higher education where I am able to make an impact on the K-12 environment.
I believe in embedding technology experiences in schools and I believe in teaching teachers how to use technology intentionally and meaningfully in their classroom. Both of these core beliefs will only improve the student experience in education.
I am so fortunate to work with many public, private and charter schools leading technology professional development for them. We have created multiple certifications in Blended Learning as well as teachers leadership.
These professional connections have led to many wonderful experiences and opportunities to see the impact on student learning that our work has. I continue to teach teachers in graduate courses, I co-founded an educational podcast, I am able to volunteer in my community and beyond and I continue to speak on a national level on using technology to meet the educational needs of our students.
