Allison Chawla is a psychotherapist, writer, life coach, mother, and spiritual counselor. In addition to many years of clinical training and a Master’s in Social Work and Psychotherapy from Fordham University, she has spent over a decade training in eastern philosophies of healing–cultivating a diverse set of skills that influence the change-focused, empathetic, and unique approach that she provides to her clients. 

We sat down with Allison to discuss the struggles therapists found guiding their clients in the direction of hope throughout the uncertainty of the last few years, how parents have held their children through their own particular challenges, the way that healers are using science to back up ancient theories and healing techniques, and the instant calm that can come from utilizing Emotional Freedom Techniques.
