Chad Cave, a Battalion Chief with the Frederick County, MD Fire Department has over 30 years in the fire service. He believes in feeding our young, creating a solid foundation for those that want the most from the job. He believes in doing the job, no short cuts and spending time in each position. He had a great officer spot and was happy with leading his company. But we need solid firefighters and good leaders to step up and have a seat at the table. We need these people to help keep command staffs grounded and in touch with the actual day to day. Chad Cave is working hard to ensure the Frederick County firefighters have what they need to do their jobs.
