Jenny Blake, the author of Free Time: Lose The Busywork, Love Your Business, is here to talk about her new book and how busy entrepreneurs can free up time to focus on creativity and deep work. Lack of time and stress over not getting enough done or not getting the right things done is a massive problem for many entrepreneurs, so this episode is the perfect motivation to continue getting this year right and make the most of valuable time.

Jenny has been running her own business for a decade. Before that, she worked at a Silicon Valley startup and then spent five years at Google. She's a keynote speaker and licenses her Pivot Programs to clients like Google and CHANEL. She is the host of the Free Time podcast and the Pivot with Jenny Blake podcast. She is also the author of Pivot: The Only Move That Matters Is Your Next One. She is passionate about career development and helping entrepreneurs and business owners move from friction to flow through more intelligent systems.

We learn a little bit about her business and how she uses systems to run a profitable full-time business working focused part-time hours. We also learn the value of having a delightfully tiny team and scaling instead of growing. We dive into many concepts of her book, like freeing ourselves from the busy work to do our best work.
