#41 Nathan Durkin | Becoming The Rugby League Guru - How You Can Turn Your Biggest Passion Into A Full-time Career 

In this episode I sat down with Nathan Durkin, better known as the Rugby League Guru. Before I get into Nathan's story briefly, I want to make one thing clear: This podcast isn't just for people who love Rugby League. In 2018 while working as a teacher, Nathan started an Instagram page around one of his passions, Rugby League or more specifically at that time, SuperCoach. After gaining over 15,000 followers in within his first year as a content creator, he saw an opportunity to expand and in 2019 he started covering Rugby League more broadly and thus, The Rugby League Guru was born.

Nathan started the Rugby League Guru podcast in 2020 and within his first year of the podcast, he made the decision to leave his career in teaching and dive into content creation full-time . He has since been built one of the largest audiences in Rugby League through his knowledge and expertise in the game he loves.
