So what lifeline are you gifting your child?
I don't know about you, but my children can drive me a little crazy. Sometimes I say something ten times and you would think they got it.
But no! I have to repeat myself another twenty times just for a response. That can get frustrating and discouraging all at the same time.
Do our words matter to our children?
They do, but at the same time, it's our actions that speak louder.

It's just a reminder that what you do as a parent counts every day.
When you tell your children thirty times what to do and they appear to not be listening. Be ware! They are hearing and seeing exactly what you are telling them. However, they don't want to relinquish their control.
That's where you can't give up hope.

Don't give up on this challenging blessing, your child.
You are going to get tired. You are going to feel helpless. You are going to wish at times you didn't have to parent. You are going to attempt to throw in the towel.
But it's in these brief moments where your child learns the most when you feel the least.
To impact your children's future, you have to be present today. Train up your children today so they know what's possible tomorrow.
