No one wants to talk about politics with people who disagree with them, and so American society just votes and thinks like the echo chamber in which they feel most comfortable. 

No one wants to talk about money, so instead the average American lives paycheck to paycheck, can't afford a $500 medical emergency, and thinks people with financial means are selfish and without empathy or character. 

No one wants to talk about religion, so we develop a society that worships individuality at the expense of the group, and we fight wars over whose god is the truest.
