#87: A Lesson on Training Intensity

What you THINK you're doing, and what you're ACTUALLY doing are not always the same thing.

You know those people who say they workout super hard yet never change or improve? Yeah, they're not actually training that hard.

Although their perception of hard training is valid, because well, that's their perception. Still doesn't make it true.

Intensity is one of the most important variables in all of training. In fact, it pains me to admit this, but high training intensity can make up for a lot of programming and methodology shortcomings.

In this episode I spoke about how to evaluate training intensity, why it matters, what the lower and upper limits are, and how you can apply these thoughts to your own training to start getting better results.
