The Revolutionized Mind S2, E10: Mental Health Advocacy and Community Connection (with Liv Miller)
This week on TRM, we are joined by mental health advocate and public speaker, Liv Miller! In this episode, Liv shares their journey through mental health advocacy. Beginning back in high school, she recognized that her community was in need of mental health support. She started planning events to spread positivity, speaking and storytelling to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, and bringing people together in safe spaces. Liv realized that she loved speaking about mental health and sharing her story in a way that could make a positive impact and move the world forward. Liv has learned a lot about themselves, including the importance of boundary setting, putting yourself first, and leaning into the things that you’re passionate about. We emphasize how special it is to be able to connect with other people in these very deep and personal ways! We also discuss some of the behind-the-scenes work that comes with being a public advocate.
