July podcast stats: Geographic and user agent breakdown
In July, Libsyn's podcast downloads showed the United States as the top country with 62.8% of downloads, followed by Canada (5.2%), UK (5.1%), and Australia (3.7%). Among user agents, mobile downloads accounted for 92.96% of all downloads, while iOS devices dominated with a ratio of 5.4 to 1 compared to Android devices. Apple Podcasts remained the leading aggregator app with 66.28% of downloads, followed by Spotify (15.4%) and Google Podcasts (2.4%). Browsers accounted for approximately 6% of downloads, with Chrome (3.7%) and Safari (1.2%) as the top browsers.
