This is our CCC pre-race interview with Toni McCann.
This interview is part of Freetrail's coverage of the 2025 Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB). Our shows and athlete interviews are hosted by Dylan Bowman who sits down to talk with some of the favorites who are racing this year.
In this interview, Dylan talks to Toni McCann (Adidas Terrex). After two strong finishes at OCC (5th, 14th), Toni won CCC in 2024. She lives in Annecy, France, just around the corner from Chamonix, and her local knowledge and time training on course sets her up well to come in as the race’s clear favorite. The CCC women’s race is perhaps the most competitive race this week, but Toni’s cool, calm confidence will serve her well.
