Cody Laughlin is our guest for this #TechandTacticsTuesday episode. Cody is a real estate entrepreneur and thought leader with over 10 years of real estate investing experience. He found his way to real estate by accident. In 2010, he became an accidental landlord when he and his wife decided to rent out one of their houses because they couldn't afford to pay two mortgages. 

Today, Cody is a general partner at about 150 million dollars across 847 units in multifamily real estate. In this episode, Cody will dive deep into market dynamics and fundamentals, underwriting, and creative ways of finding and adding value to your property and community. He'll also talk about his skillsets and finding other people that will complement those skillsets to build a team. He'll also share how he learned to underwrite and mention some of an underwriter's challenges in our current, competitive market.
