Therapists need to STOP doing THIS!

THIS DOES NOT COUNT AS THERAPY, PLEASE GO TO ACTUAL THERAPY. Sometimes as therapists we overanalyze things. Whether it's our own ego or our genuine thirst for discovery, we sometimes read into things that aren't there. One of the most common ways I find we do this is when we are convinced that someone is just try to "distract" themselves from their pain. It's important for us to realize that sometimes these "distractions" are actually just the way the person lives and enjoys their life.
