The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) is an organization that celebrates and preserves the history of the American Revolution. It has over 38,000 members, including some in other countries like France and Spain. The SAR aims to honor the sacrifices of Patriot ancestors and promote the principles of liberty and our constitutional republic. They offer educational programs, contests, and youth exchange programs to engage young people in learning about the revolution. The SAR also plans to establish a museum and education center that will transport their exhibits and information to classrooms. Their goal is to double their membership in the next 10 years and continue commemorating significant events from the revolution.
